The Holy Bible was originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages and has been translated into Uzbek from those languages. This translation includes introductions, prefaces, commentary, glossaries, illustrations, tables, and maps for each book. The following information is taken from the "Foreword" of the 2016 publication of "Muqaddas Kitob":

This book is the first complete translation of sacred scriptures recognized as holy for over two thousand years into Uzbek. The Holy Bible consists of Old and New Testament scriptures. Within it are well-known to Uzbek readers such as the Torah, Psalms, Gospels, as well as other Prophetic books.

In 1992, the New Testament scriptures were published under the name "Gospel" in Uzbek for the first time in full. After the initial translation was published, serious editing efforts were made which resulted in this edition. Translation experts have worked on this translation for more than twenty years. Finally, the Holy Bible was printed in its entirety in the official language of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

While most events described in the Holy Bible took place in Western Asia, its invaluable wisdom has transcended borders enriching various cultures worldwide. In human history, no book has been translated more than the Holy Bible. It is regarded as a classic heritage of world civilization.

The group of translators approached this work as a serious scholarly endeavor. Besides translating the text meticulously, they have included supplementary information to enhance readers' knowledge as well. Attention was also paid to ensure that the translation style was clear and accessible to contemporary readers.

According to the contents of the Holy Bible, God cherishes every individual; the essence of Good News primarily lies in this fact. Jesus Christ came to Earth and through his resurrection from death and tomb offered us a chance to connect with God. Through Jesus, God's immense love reached from heaven to earth. Jesus demonstrated God's actions through human culture and language. Therefore, we understand how God behaves through his actions. We hope that this translation of the Holy Bible will bring many readers closer to God through Good News.
